2021 Head of the Charles Regatta

Ahh, time for the Head of the Charles Regatta again. This year all the races will be live streamed.

20 October 2021

Due to COVID-19, there was no Head of the Charles Regatta (HOCR) with crews on the Charles River last year. But there was a virtual HOCR 4702 event where anyone around the world could participate by submitting a 4,702-metre piece on a rowing machine (or on the water). Larry Fogelberg explained how it worked in an HTBS article in November 2020.

This year, however, HOCR is back in full swing on 22-24 October. And with an exciting new feature, the whole regatta will be live streamed from the start at Boston University’s DeWolfe Boathouse to the finish line at Herter Park.

Here is the regatta programme.
