ANZAC Day in Brisbane

Thanks to Tim for his kind article on ANZAC Day (see here). My local Sub-Branch of the Returned & Services League has the privilege of holding its ANZAC Day service each year at the gloriously sited memorial at Cameron Rocks in Brisbane. The memorial was built in 1934 on the banks of the Brisbane River. Last year, it was relocated 200 metres away to accommodate roadworks, but was also restored and improved in the process. It is a wonderful place to remember and is close by two rowing clubs, St Margaret’s School and Dragons Rowing Club.
