If Chris Dodd’s review from yesterday of Sandy Nairne and Peter Williams’s biography Titan of the Thames: The Life of Lord Desborough whetted your apatite to know more about this epitome of an English gentleman, HTBS is happy to report that Sandy and Peter are going to be at an event at Hatchards Bookshop, Piccadilly, London, on Wednesday 27 March at 6:30 p.m.

At this event, the authors will discuss the life, myth and legacy of William Grenfell, 1st Baron Desborough, and, of course, sign their book.

Tickets are £10.00, which includes £5 off the purchase of Titan of the Thames at this evening’s event.

Book your tickets here.

The bookshop regrets to inform you that the customer lift is being refurbished, so the only access to this event will be by stairs.
