This year’s Henley Royal Regatta, between 4 and 8 July, will go down in the history of rowing for many reasons: the high temperatures, the many course records and the favourites who won and those who lost. It was the year when the Skibbereen brothers made their Henley Royal debut and the 39-year-old Mahé Drysdale won his sixth Diamond Sculls final and by that equaling the record of the great Aussie sculler Stuart ‘Sam’ MacKenzie. HTBS’s special Henley correspondent Tim Koch wrote reports every day and took beautiful memorable photographs to go with the articles.
Yes, this was a Henley year to remember. If you happened to miss any of the articles and reports or any of the final races (on video), you will find them all gathered here.
