Fröhliche Ostern and KBO

13 April 2020

Tim Koch’s Easter message:

As these German rabbits from 1900 are saying – Happy Easter.

I am writing this on Easter Monday – which seems a little late. However, for Orthodox churches (who base their dates on the Julian calendar) Easter is next week, so perhaps I am early.

Easter is not relevant to everyone but, although it seems to have turned into a festival of chocolate, it is traditionally about rebirth and hope, something that seems particularly pertinent at present. It is the ecclesiastical version of Keep Buggering On.
