Nominations for the 2019 World Rowing Awards

It’s time to nominate your favourite rowers for the 2019 World Rowing Awards, FISA, World Rowing writes on the website.

FISA would like to know who you think was the best in rowing in 2019. But act fast, the deadline for your nominations is 30 September 2019.

You may nominate in the following categories:

  • World Rowing Men’s Crew of the Year – top male crew or rower of the year. Nominate here.
  • World Rowing Women’s Crew of the Year – top female crew or rower of the year. Nominate here.
  • World Rowing Para Crew of the Year – top para-rower or crew of the year. Nominate here.
  • World Rowing Coach of the Year – top coach of the year. Nominate here.

Nominations are already open for the following awards. The deadline for these nominations is also 30 September.

  • Thomas Keller Medal – outstanding career in rowing. Information here.
  • World Rowing Distinguished Service to International Rowing – outstanding contribution to international rowing. Nominate here.
  • Filippi Spirit Award – university rower who demonstrates the core values of rowing. More information here.
  • World Rowing Sustainability Award – individual, club, event or organisation that delivers exemplary sustainable practices on an ongoing basis. Nominate here.

The finalists will be announced on 11 October and then the winners will be revealed and celebrated at a gala evening on 22 November 2019 during the World Rowing Coaches Conference in London, Great Britain.
