The British Rowing Sculling Festival will be taking place on Saturday and Sunday, 18 and 19 August, at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham.

One hundred twenty-four crews from clubs across Great Britain will race over the course of this event that challenges a sculler’s technical skills, maneuverability and competency. It is open to all scullers that are registered members of a club affiliated to any Great Britain rowing body.

This event is run as an omnium over two days, with points from individual events contributing to the overall ranking of each sculler. The festival offers a main event, with prizes awarded in Senior, U23, J18 and J16 categories, and a beginners’ event for those in their first year of the sport.

Competitors are put through their paces in a series of tests accumulating points, before the side-by-side, 1,000m and 2,000m racing gets underway.

The semi-finals and finals will take place on the Sunday, with winners of gold, silver and bronze, crowned in 16 events.
