Our friends at Rowperfect are going to host an interesting RowingChat with Yale coach Steve Gladstone on 26 October – an event not to be missed! Gladstone is regarded as one of the premier rowing coaches in the United States. He was appointed head coach of Yale’s heavyweight crew in 2010.

RowPerfect writes: ‘Yale Heavyweight Crew has risen to new heights under his leadership, and Gladstone was rewarded with a 2015 USRowing Medal while being named Ivy League Coach of the Year.’ RowPerfect continues: ‘In 2014-15, the varsity saw its best finishes in nearly a decade, taking the Eastern Sprints and beating Harvard at the 150th Yale-Harvard Regatta [in 2015]. The varsity went on to defeat national champion Washington in the final of the Ladies’ Challenge Plate at Henley Royal Regatta.
