Michael “Mike” Nicholson, Australian filmmaker and member of Melbourne University BC, whose rowing films have been featured on HTBS several times, went to Champion Lakes, Perth, for the 2023 Australian Championships on 27 March – 2 April. The events included the Australian Open Rowing Championships, the Australian Schools Rowing Championships and the coveted King’s and Queen’s Cups Interstate Regatta.

Of course, Mike brought his camera along and the result you can now watch on HTBS in this 12-minute-long film – written, filmed and edited by Mike. Sit back and enjoy the Australian champions of this year.
