I think we can all agree that the 2019 Henley Royal Regatta was really something special.
Quite a few of HTBS’s contributors felt the call to write about the regatta, which included the commemoration of the centenary of the 1919 Royal Henley Peace Regatta. To celebrate, military eights from eight nations – with mixed crews (that’s a first at Henley!) – raced for the ‘new’ King’s Cup.
Both regular and irregular writers of HTBS put pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard, to give you readers a taste of what one of the major summer events on the English social calendar had to offer: William O’Chee, Chris Dodd, Tim Koch, Peter Mallory and Louis Petrin.
If you missed any of their 2019 HRR articles, here they are again. Enjoy!
