Göran R Buckhorn writes:

After a Christmas and New Year’s break, here follows chapter 10 of “The Seven Seat: A True Story of Rowing, Redemption, and Revenge”, Dan Boyne’s tale about his rowing and sculling days in the 1970s at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, a series published on Row2K’s website.

In this chapter, “Boys to Men”, Dan Boyne insists that T. S. Eliot is wrong, it’s March which is the cruelest month, at least when it comes to rowers. This chapter starts with a biology lesson and ends with a bath in the icy Connecticut River.
