Göran R Buckhorn writes:
Here follows chapter 4 of “The Seven Seat: A True Story of Rowing, Redemption, and Revenge”, Dan Boyne’s tale about his rowing and sculling days in the 1970s at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, a series published on Row2K’s website.
In this chapter, “The Recalcitrant Coxswain”, Dan finds himself rowing in the Head of the Charles. With a mile to go, Dan’s Trinity crew is just ahead of Cornell and Columbia. Soon the coxes in these boats demand the Trinity boat to move over.
Trinity cox Phil Poupée doesn’t agree.
