Worldrowing.com, FISA, writes in race reports from Sunday’s finals at the 2017 World Rowing Championships at Sarasota-Bradenton, Florida:

The blue riband boat classes – the men’s and women’s single sculls and men’s and women’s eight – highlighted the final day of racing at the 2017 World Rowing Championships in Sarasota-Bradenton, United States.

A small head-cross wind that changed to a tail wind rippled the waters of the Nathan Benderson Park regatta course with hot and humid conditions as is normal for late summer in Florida.
