Signs of Spring 2

I know that spring is here,
When my Henley badges hit the mat.
The envelope is very heavy,
I worry it’ll land upon the cat.

This poem was to be Haiku,
In five – six – four syllable time.
But it proved to be easier,
In just getting it to rhyme.
