Today, the Narragansett Boat Club is celebrating its 175th anniversary with a large party. The Narragansett BC is the oldest, still active, of the rowing clubs in America. It was founded by some of the most influential men of Providence, Rhode Island, in 1833. Yesterday, USRowing’s website posted a nice an article about NBC. Read it here.
