The 100th anniversary Head of the River Race (HoRR) took place on the River Thames yesterday. More than 320 crews raced the 4¼-mile Championship Course from Mortlake to Putney following a tradition that was founded in 1926 by famous coach Steve Fairbairn.

Photographer Marie Barge, who previously has shared her pictures from different World Rowing Regattas on HTBS, was there and sent some images.

Enjoy!
