Oh, well, it was
only an illusion, you point out.
Yes, but an illusion
I saw in real time,
the flash of light
racing the length of the bay
I said looked exactly like
a crew rowing,
hell-bent, in a heat.
Since I saw
the flash of light as such,
who can say it wasn’t?
