In January, British Rowing announced that Alastair Marks has made a decision to step down from his role as CEO of British Rowing.

The other day, it was announced that Mark Davies, the Chair of British Rowing, will take over the role of interim CEO from 1 May.

British Rowing writes on its website:

The search for a new Chair will therefore begin immediately as the current Chair cannot return to the post after being interim CEO. Any gap between the Chair stepping down and the appointment of a new Chair will be filled temporarily by a current member of the board, to be identified and agreed by the Board by the end of March.
