It has become a HTBS tradition that our friend Ralf-Peter Stumme in Germany writes a message to HTBS and its readers wishing us all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

At this time of the year, Ralf-Peter and his friends go for a Christmas outing.

Ralf-Peter writes:

“This year we took out a variety of three boats – dating from 1900 to 1936 – for our traditional Christmas row. The weather was surprisingly good, which confused us as, according to custom, there should have been rain and strong winds. But at least the water was a little bit high.”
