By now, it has become a tradition that HTBS reader Ralf-Peter Stumme in Germany sends HTBS some photographs of his and his rowing friends Christmas outing in Mulheim.

Ralf-Peter writes:

“This year we would have had the opportunity to bring a good amount of our historic boats in use for the traditional Christmas outing, but….. storm and floods made it a little too hazardous.

So, we decided to take only some photos!”

That was probably a good choice as Northern Europe has been slammed with heavy rain and strong winds for Christmas.

We hope that all rowers in Northern Europe stay safe.
