On Tuesday, 26 September, the Committee of the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta (HOSR) hosted another interested rowing history Zoom event titled “UBC/UBC: The Tale of Two Clubs”.
The “story” this time was dealing with the growth of rowing in two sister cities: Philadelphia and Boston. Bill Miller of Union Boat Club and Claudia Siegel of University Barge Club presented the clubs’ parallel histories and the camaraderie they’ve been sharing since 1945.
