By now, filmmaker Michael Nicholson, of Melbourne University Boat Club (MUBC), is a household name on HTBS’s pages.

Michael’s latest film was shot on 27 February 2022 when MUBC had a christening event where 16 boats got their names, one being Michael Nicholson.

The film also shows some footage from the women’s fours final at the Olympic Games in Tokyo last summer, a race which Australia won. In the crew, in the 2 seat, was Rosemary Chapman-Popa, whose mother Michael coached back in 1977.
